Here is some very surprising NFL data from 2024 similar to the results after a team has a bye week. One might expect that teams playing the week after a Thursday game would do well with the extra rest, especially when playing at home. However, data from 2024 shows that NFL teams playing at home with 9-10 days off won only 5 of 13 games but won 13 of 23 on the road.
