11/26/24 7 best individual seasons by an Eagles' offensive player since 2000. Joe Giglio ranked his best individual seasons by an Eagles offensive player on today's 94WIP Midday Show. 1. Terrell Owens in 2004 2. Saquon Barkley in 2024 3. LeSean McCoy in 2013 4. Michael Vick in 2010 5. Nick Foles in 2013 6. Jalen Hurts in 2022 7. Carson Wentz in 2017 Giglio explained he kept the list within the last 25 years, leaving out Randall Cunningham who had four 3,000 yard passing seasons as an Eagle from 1988-1994. "I excluded Randall [Cunningham], I was very young when Randall was at his best," Giglio admitted. "And I put honorable mention—I didn't include Donovan '04 because I felt like someone else in '04 was even better on his own team." In 2004, Owens caught 77 balls for 1,200

11/18/24 49ers' Jauan Jenning enters Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens territory with latest feat. When looking through the San Francisco 49ers' legends throughout the team's existence, two of the more iconic names would have to be Jerry Rice and Terrell Owens. Rice is considered to some as one of the best wide receivers of all time, while Owens is surely in the conversation. Although Jauan Jennings' name might not have the same pull as Rice or Owens, he recently joined the two NFL legends in an impressive stat. In 49ers history, only three receivers have multiple games of 10+ receptions and at least one receiving touchdown in the same season, per Nick Wagoner on X (formerly known as Twitter).

8/17/24 Haason Reddick's standoff with the Jets re-teaches some lessons the Eagles learned with T.O.. You see Haason Reddick in the midst of a contract dispute with the New York Jets, and suddenly it's the summer of 2005, and you're watching Terrell Owens crunch his stomach in his driveway. Traded by the Eagles back in April, Reddick hasn't shown up for training camp and reportedly requested that the Jets trade him. Now, his holdout isn't nearly the attention-seeking spectacle that Owens' was, and in terms of his effect on the locker room, Reddick hasn't been nearly the disruption to the Jets that Owens was to the Eagles.

8/08/24 49ers cut Terrell Owens' son after hand injury. The San Francisco 49ers already have a fairly stacked wide receiver room. In fact, this is probably the position that Kyle Shanahan has the most personnel in. Considering that the young weapon had already experienced a tough injury during the offseason, a call about the former Florida Atlantic football weapon's spot was imminent.

8/03/24 The World's Team?: New study finds Bills are NFL's most popular franchise worldwide. Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens stole headlines when he inked a one-year deal with the then-lowly Buffalo Bills in 2009, humorously dubbing the struggling franchise as “North America's Team.” The nickname, an obvious dig at Owens' former employer, is, in hindsight, perhaps a bit too limiting, as a new study has determined that the Bills, while not necessarily the preferred team of the continent on which they play, are the NFL's most popular franchise worldwide. Betting company FlashPicks recently published a study in which a team of researchers “analyzed Google search volume in more than 100 countries to figure out how many times each NFL team was searched for over the past four years,” ultimately giving each team a score between 0 and 10. Buffalo ultimately earned the league's highest score, coming in at an impressive 9.9; the Dallas Cowboys came in just behind the Bills at a 9.8 while the Kansas City Chiefs ranked third with a 9.1.

7/30/24 Terrell Owens' son grabs attention with spectacular training camp highlight. Although there was some volatility, Terrell Owens provided San Francisco 49ers fans with a multitude of memorable moments during his eight-year tenure with the franchise. Terique Owens did not look the part of a long shot on Tuesday, though, making a strong impression on those who attended the practice. The undrafted wide receiver secured a long reception that apparently would have been brought to the end zone for a touchdown, via Kyle Madison of Niners Wire, and impressed people with his speed and route-running ability. The advantages of being the son of an all-time great are likely offset by a modest college football career, which was highlighted by the 28 catches, 528 yards and four touchdowns he recorded in his senior season at FCS program Missouri State University.

6/22/24 NFL Hall Of Fame WR Terrell Owens believes 'sky is the limit' for C.J. Stroud, Texans' offense. Terrell Owens knows quarterback talent. Hall of Fame gunslinger Steve Young helped kickstart Owens' career in San Francisco. Donovan McNabb helped him become an All-Pro in Philadelphia. Where would Tony Romo be without Owens as a security blanket in Dallas?

6/18/24 Bills DT defends Josh Allen after initial snub from C.J. Stroud's QB ranking. It's a quote that lives on in football infamy, a phrase uttered by an emotional Terrell Owens that's today part of the average NFL fan's lexicon: “That's my quarterback.” Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver took this phrase to heart on Instagram this week, taking to his story to defend signal-caller Josh Allen after the passer was initially snubbed from C.J. Stroud's top-five quarterback ranking. The Houston Texans passer listed his top-five signal callers from the 2023 NFL season during a recent appearance on Barstool Sports' Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, initially including Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens, himself, Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys, and Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles.

5/10/24 49ers add Terrell Owens' son, plus other undrafted prospects at quarterback, running back. On Friday, the 49ers' rookies hit the practice fields for the first time as professionals. Six of their draft picks were under contract before practice, all but first-round pick Ricky Pearsall and sixth-round offensive lineman Jarrett Kingston. Coach Kyle Shanahan's system and running backs coach Bobby Turner have a strong history of turning undrafted running backs into stars.

5/08/24 The UDFA who's Most Likely to Make the 49ers 53-Man Roster. The 49ers are so stacked, any undrafted free agent would have a tough time making their 53-man roster as a rookie. With that being said, which UDFA has the best chance to make the team? Terrell Owens' son Terique Owens is a 49ers UDFA who will garner lots of attention this offseason, but he's a bit of a project -- he didn't start playing football until his senior year of high school. Plus the 49ers have a logjam at wide receiver after taking two in the past draft.
