12/20/24	Saints Practice Updates: Chase Young, Marquez Valdes-Scantling Not Spotted On Friday. As the Saints continue to make preparations for a frigid Green Bay environment to close out Week 16 action, Friday's practice gave us a little more insight on who may and may not be available for the Packers game. Among those not spotted during the open portion of practice that was made available to the media included Derek Carr (left hand), Marquez Valdes-Scantling (back), Alvin Kamara (groin), Chase Young (illness) and Bub Means (ankle). Interim head coach Darren Rizzi was hopeful to get Young and Valdes-Scantling back today, but we did not see them on the field. It appears that New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr has already played his last game in the 2024 NFL regular season. 12/16/24	Darren Rizzi again waiting to name a starting QB. Will Derek Carr return vs. Packers?. The Saints don't play again until next Monday when they travel to face the Green Bay Packers. "We'll wait to see what's going on with Derek's situation first and then go from there," Rizzi said. Naturally if Derek can get through the injury situation, get out there and start practicing at a regular pace, certainly that'll factor in.
