During his college career, Polk showed huge playmaking potential for the next level. Unfortunately, things have not ended up going as expected. In the 2024 NFL draft, the New England Patriots traded back in the second round and used the 37th overall pick to select wide receiver Ja'Lynn Polk out of Washington. All reports on Polk coming out of the school were about his maturity and his ability to be a possession receiver at the next level. The New England Patriots rookie wideout underwhelmed greatly through 13 games and has been consistently criticized for his lack of production and mindless miscues.
