2/01/25 Chargers urged to reunite with fan favorite in NFL free agency. The Los Angeles Chargers have some very clear needs heading into the offseason, and perhaps their most obvious hole is at wide receiver. Outside of Ladd McConkey, the Chargers do not exactly have a whole lot at the position, but the good news is they have some cap room to sign free agents. There won't be a ton of great options available at wide out on the open market, with Tee Higgins and Chris Godwin definitely representing the cream of the crop. Allen spent the first 11 years of his career with the Chargers before being traded to the Chicago Bears last offseason, and Cem Youbulan of LA Sports Hub feels that Los Angeles should consider reuniting with the six-time Pro Bowler in March.

1/31/25 Los Angeles Chargers make colossal mistake in 2024 NFL re-draft. The Jim Harbaugh era has gotten off to a bang for the Los Angeles Chargers . The team clinched a postseason berth after an 11-6 season in year one under Harbaugh. It may sound cliche, but rebuilding a team starts with making the right picks in the draft. For the Chargers, the 2024 NFL draft was a homerun. The selections made by the Chargers were headlined by significant rookie seasons from first-round pick Joe Alt and second-round pick Ladd McConkey . RELATED: Could Chargers acquire Cowboys' Micah Parsons in blockbuster trade? But what if the Chargers went in a different direction with their first-round selection? Gary Davenport of Bleacher Report recently created a re-draft of the 2024 class.

1/30/25 Ladd McConkey stolen from Chargers in 2024 NFL re-draft. The Chargers did just that in 2024. The franchise selected Joe Alt and Ladd McConkey, proving they had their finger on the pulse when it came to examining the 2024 class. McConkey's rookie season was seen as quite a surprise, as the second-round pick burst on the scene with 82 receptions and 1,149 receiving yards.

1/20/25 Chargers crowned top fit for one of NFL Draft's best tight ends. Now that the Los Angeles Chargers' season is over, it's time for them to head back to the drawing board and prepare for 2025. Unfortunately for the Chargers, their biggest flaw was evident in the Wild Card, which was a lack of offensive playmakers. Ladd McConkey did his thing, catching nine passes for 197 yards and one touchdown, a perfect stamp to an incredible rookie season. Outside of him, the Chargers had nobody step up to help.

1/17/25 Chargers predicted to land explosive weapon for Justin Herbert. The Los Angeles Chargers managed to win 11 games and capture a playoff berth this season, but throughout the process, one thing became abundantly clear: the Chargers need weapons. Outside of rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey, Justin Herbert did not have any consistent targets during the 2024 campaign, which means that Los Angeles obviously needs to get its quarterback some help in the coming months. While the Chargers have some cap room to potentially make some things happen in free agency, they also have the NFL Draft to hopefully plug some holes. Trevor Sikkema of Pro Football Focus recently ran a mock draft, and at No. 22, he has the Bolts selecting Texas Longhorns receiver Matthew Golden.

1/17/25 Chargers' breakout star Ladd McConkey can't do it all by himself. The good news for the Los Angeles Chargers is that they've found a legit No.1 option for their offense in Ladd McConkey. In their Wild Card loss to the Houston Texans, McConkey dominated, catching nine passes for 197 yards and one touchdown. The recurring theme all season has been hoping another playmaker on the Chargers could step up to take some pressure off of McConkey.

1/16/25 Analyst drops immense take on Los Angeles Chargers star WR. The Los Angeles Chargers entered the 2024 NFL campaign not knowing what to expect from their receiving corps. One of those unproven commodities was rookie Ladd McConkey, who went on to establish himself as Justin Herbert's clear No. 1 target while enjoying a fantastic rookie season. McConkey was so good, as a matter of fact, that Matt Harmon of The 33rd Team feels that McConkey could end up being the best receiver from his draft class.

1/15/25 Chargers predicted to go after NFL free agency's top players at key need. Now that the Los Angeles Chargers' 2024-25 season has officially come to an end, the team will start to lay out blueprints for the offseason. This will be the second go around for the regime of Joe Hortiz and Jim Harbaugh, who are going to have more resources at their disposal compared to last year. Many will point toward the lack of playmakers outside of Ladd McConkey, which is arguably their biggest flaw. Next would be the offensive line, specifically along the interior.

1/13/25 Chargers could reunite Jim Harbaugh with Michigan star. The Los Angeles Chargers were unceremoniously bounced from the NFL playoffs this past weekend, so now, it's time to look to the offseason. While the Chargers have several needs, one hole is more glaring than the rest: weapons. Los Angeles is severely lacking in playmakers outside of wide receiver Ladd McConkey, so the Chargers are surely to try and address the issue in free agency and the draft. In assessing the Bolts' potential NFL Draft strategy, Dan Graziano of ESPN feels that Jim Harbaugh and Co. should bring in Michigan Wolverines tight end Colston Loveland, who Harbaugh coached to a national championship last year.

1/13/25 Ladd McConkey sets NFL rookie playoff record, continues incredible journey. Ladd McConkey set an NFL rookie record with his 197 receiving yards on the nine catches he made in the Los Angeles Chargers 31-12 playoff loss to Houston. “He just finds a way to make plays,” Los Angeles quarterback Justin Herbert said after the Chargers' season-ending loss.

1/09/25 Chargers tabbed as shocking trade destination for Jets superstar. The Los Angeles Chargers are definitely going to be in need of wide receiver help entering the offseason, as Ladd McConkey appears to be the only sure thing at the position heading into 2025. Quentin Johnston has been largely disappointing, and Joshua Palmer is slated to hit free agency. Heck, even if those two receivers returned next season, the Chargers would still need to bring in another reliable option. Adams has not generally been viewed as a trade candidate, but things could change if the Jets decide to part ways with Aaron Rodgers.

1/05/25 Chargers breakout rookie already in rare company. The Los Angeles Chargers' 2024 draft class is being hailed as one of the best in the league. Joe Alt and Ladd McConkey highlight the group, as they both have contributed valuable snaps on offense. One in particular has been Tarheeb Still, the Chargers' fifth-round pick from Maryland.

1/04/25 Chargers' rising stars listed as biggest Pro Bowl snubs. The Los Angeles Chargers had some massive Pro Bowl snubs in the first year of the Jim Harbaugh era. Maybe that shouldn't be a shocker—sometimes these things lag behind the on-field success now that the perception of the Chargers has done a 180 as they now look like an annual playoff threat. Anyway, over at ESPN, Ben Solak and Seth Walder listed Chargers stars Ladd McConkey and Daiyan Henley as two of the biggest Pro Bowl snubs this year. Henley's note in the writeup is especially impressive: “Henley has seen more targets as the nearest defender than any linebacker according to NFL Next Gen Stats, but he has allowed negative receiving EPA in coverage despite that volume. That's an impact player,
