Former Detroit Tigers outfielder Ryan Vilade has signed a minor-league contract with the St. Louis Cardinals, the team announced Tuesday. Vilade, 25, spent most of the 2024 season at Triple-A Toledo but had three stints with the big league club. Originally drafted in the second round (48th overall) by the Colorado Rockies in 2017 out of Stillwater (Okla.)
