Denver Broncos 5-round post-free agency frenzy 2025 NFL mock draft, per PFN simulator. The Broncos' biggest strength is the defense. With one of the NFL's most intimidating cornerbacks in Patrick Surtain II, and one of the best defensive fronts, Denver will be required to shore things up with its scoring. Bo Nix made tremendous strides as a rookie quarterback, and the Broncos are very close to having weapons around him that balance things out on both sides of the football. Ex-Cowboys WR makes guarantee after Commanders signing. Despite Michael Gallup retiring from the Dallas Cowboys and the NFL, he found a new home with the Washington Commanders. Commanders offensive coach listed as potential candidate for Stanford Cardinal HC job. The Washington Commanders had one of the top offenses in the league last season under the first year of Kliff Kingsbury and Jayden Daniels paired together. Washington's offense was so good, in fact, that it distracted from the team's lapses on the defensive side of the ball and was one of the key reasons they were able to make it all the way to the NFC Championship game. Things have changed since that unfortunate loss to the Philadelphia Eagles as the Commanders are going all-in to maximize the talents of Daniels along with the rest of the roster, making big moves across free agency as well as via trade. Much of the attention has been paid to how to improve the defense from a season ago, and the Commanders have, however, they have also improved their already potent offense by bringing in guys such as Deebo Samuel and Laremy Tunsil.

Bears stunning trade idea dumps $110 million star wideout to Broncos. Deciding when to trade a star player can be one of the trickiest calls an NFL front office has to make. For the Chicago Bears, the star in question is currently quarterback Caleb Williams' number-one pass-catcher. The Bears paid wide receiver D.J. Broncos projected to land 21-TD SEC threat for Bo Nix. The Missouri Tigers are not known for churning out top-tier first round talent. While they have had some great players over the years who are currently playing in the NFL, including Nick Bolton and Drew Lock, there is another set to join the list. Luther Burden III is going to be one of the top wide receivers taken in the 2025 NFL Draft. Whether he ends up being a first round pick or an early second round pick remains to be seen, but he's going to be a high-impact player at the next level.

Detroit Lions sneakiest 2025 NFL free agency signing. The Detroit Lions had an incredible 2024 season. Detroit won 15 games, earned its second consecutive NFC North title, and secured the No. 1 seed in the NFC for the playoffs. The Las Vegas Raiders parted with the extra 2025 third-round pick they got in the Davante Adams trade to get quarterback Geno Smith, but they still have nine total picks in next month's draft. What the Raiders do with the sixth overall pick is a naturally an open question. The 49ers, desperate to reset their balance sheets ahead of the 2025 season for reasons that straddle the line between hubris and ignorance, are trying to trade wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk before April 1. Doing so would not only rid them of the injured receiver but, more importantly, the money remaining on his contract, with $31 million in future injury guarantees vesting next Tuesday, per OverTheCap. The 49ers' front office wasn't unified in its decision to give Aiyuk the $120 million contract he signed late last August. With his catastrophic knee injury (which could keep him out for more than half the 2025 season, conservatively), San Francisco has little reason to let the bulk of that contract hit the team's books.

There's been a public perception about the way the Washington Commanders are building their roster under general manager Adam Peters and head coach Dan Quinn. The so-called "their guys" approach to building the roster is nothing new, of course, but the trades and releases of several recent first-round picks made by the previous Commanders leadership heightened the sense that if you were drafted before Peters arrived, you might not be here much longer. New Orleans brought Kellen Moore to town after the Super Bowl and the team said all of the right things as it unveiled him to the media, but at the time the Saints were in the worst cap position in the entire National Football League. The Saints at one point had over -$51 million in cap space. The Saints were in last place in the division but clearly they view this roster as one that can be better than that.
