Denver Broncos 5-round post-free agency frenzy 2025 NFL mock draft, per PFN simulator. The Broncos' biggest strength is the defense. With one of the NFL's most intimidating cornerbacks in Patrick Surtain II, and one of the best defensive fronts, Denver will be required to shore things up with its scoring. Bo Nix made tremendous strides as a rookie quarterback, and the Broncos are very close to having weapons around him that balance things out on both sides of the football. Commanders offensive coach listed as potential candidate for Stanford Cardinal HC job. The Washington Commanders had one of the top offenses in the league last season under the first year of Kliff Kingsbury and Jayden Daniels paired together. Washington's offense was so good, in fact, that it distracted from the team's lapses on the defensive side of the ball and was one of the key reasons they were able to make it all the way to the NFC Championship game. Things have changed since that unfortunate loss to the Philadelphia Eagles as the Commanders are going all-in to maximize the talents of Daniels along with the rest of the roster, making big moves across free agency as well as via trade. Much of the attention has been paid to how to improve the defense from a season ago, and the Commanders have, however, they have also improved their already potent offense by bringing in guys such as Deebo Samuel and Laremy Tunsil.

The Jets have the longest active playoff drought in the NFL, sitting at 14 seasons since their last postseason appearance. Two of the biggest reasons for positivity around the Jets are star wide receiver Garrett Wilson and star corner Sauce Gardner. Both players were selected in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft and both have lived up to the hype thus far.

5 former Vikings who still need a team for the 2025 NFL season. It has now been two weeks since the free agency period of the 2025 NFL offseason began for the Minnesota Vikings and the other 31 teams in the league. As is typically the case, free agency got off to a blazing start around the NFL this year, and for the first time in a while, the Vikings were actually able to land some of the top players on the market. Minnesota had big needs to fill on their offensive and defensive lines, and they weren't afraid to spend a large amount of money to fill these needs. After allowing an embarrassing nine sacks in the team's first-round playoff loss to the Los Angeles Rams last season, the Vikings said goodbye to center Garrett Bradbury and guard Ed Ingram earlier this month.

Ravens CB Signing Opens Up Draft Possibilities. The Baltimore Ravens had a glaring need at cornerback after the initial waves of free agency, and as they often do, they solved it in a savvy way. On Tuesday, the Ravens signed veteran corner Chidobe Awuzie to a one-year deal. Awuzie, who signed a three-year, $36 million deal with the Tennessee Titans laast offseason, brings eight year of experience to the table, and gives the Ravens another starting-caliber corner alongside Nate Wiggins and Marlon Humphrey. It also gives them the flexibility to continue using Humphrey in the slot, where he primarily played last season en route to six interceptions and a first-team All-Pro nod.

Has Chicago Bears coach Ben Johnson found another Jahmyr Gibbs?. It's obvious why SMU running back Brashard Smith might appeal to Bears coach Ben Johnson. Smith ran a 4.39-second time for the 40-yard dash at the NFL combine, a few ticks slower than Jahmyr Gibbs did before coming to the Detroit Lions when Johnson was their offensive coordinator. 3/25/25 11:54 AM -
Kurtenbach: The 49ers will have to pay for Brandon Aiyuk's deal, one way or another. The 49ers, desperate to reset their balance sheets ahead of the 2025 season for reasons that straddle the line between hubris and ignorance, are trying to trade wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk before April 1. Doing so would not only rid them of the injured receiver but, more importantly, the money remaining on his contract, with $31 million in future injury guarantees vesting next Tuesday, per OverTheCap. The 49ers' front office wasn't unified in its decision to give Aiyuk the $120 million contract he signed late last August. With his catastrophic knee injury (which could keep him out for more than half the 2025 season, conservatively), San Francisco has little reason to let the bulk of that contract hit the team's books.

3 Big Takeaways From Broncos' 2025 Offseason Moves & Impact on Bo Nix. The Denver Broncos' 2025 offseason maneuvers have been mostly lauded across the NFL. The team's key free-agent signings not only filled roster holes, but the Broncos targeted the best players available at their respective positions, and the team didn't have to break the bank. On top of that, the Broncos made smart re-signings and even restructured outside linebacker Jonathon Cooper's contract, freeing up $3.2 million in salary-cap space. The Broncos' signings told us a lot about the team's 2025 ambitions, and the deals they didn't make also telegraph quite a lot relative to their NFL draft plans.

The Eagles were the only team to beat the Bengals by more than seven points last season. That 37-17 triumph at Paycor Stadium was notable for a couple of reasons. First, it marked the first time Philadelphia had ever beaten the Bengals in six visits to Cincinnati. But it also marked another first – and it's staggering. Rashee Rice is recovering from knee surgery, and both he and Xavier Worthy have pending legal matters that could affect their availability. Without those two, quarterback Patrick Mahomes is essentially throwing to a collection of retreads. On Tuesday, Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox proposed a hypothetical swap that would bring Indianapolis Colts wideout Alec Pierce, coming off a career-best 824-yard season, to Kansas City.

Caleb’s Close-Up: Volume VII, Rookie Progression. THE FINALE!! Rookie Variability So far in this series, we’ve seen that Caleb Williams was generally a sub-par passer in his rookie season, and he particularly struggled with deep accuracy and letting too many pressures turn into sacks. Dallas Cowboys (DEF - DAL)

Micah Parsons extension defines Cowboys offseason. The Dallas Cowboys have a big decision to make soon in regards to the future of linebacker Micah Parsons on the roster. The choice isn't about if, but when, the Cowboys will sign Parsons to a new contract that should set a new precedent among the highest-paid defenders in the NFL. Bleacher Report writer Alex Ballentine thinks that the Cowboys shouldn't focus too intently on anything other than the Parsons extension until it is complete. The Cowboys have undoubtedly had it on their radar for a few years.

Washington Commanders (DEF - WAS)

3/25/25 4:30 AM -
Are the Washington Commanders the most improved team after free agency?. The NFL free agency period is still open as teams look to fill out remaining holes left on their roster with the NFL draft coming up in an exactly one month where teams will begin to usher in young, athletic talent to go along with their free agent hauls. The Washington Commanders have been one of the most active teams this free agency, both in signing key pieces and depth from the market along with splash moves made via trade. The Commanders are hopeful that these all-in sort of transactions will result in them making it even further than their NFC Championship appearance just a season ago. While many can look at what Washington has done as a net positive, there is always the off chance that things can backfire; just look at what occurred in Houston with the Texans after going all-in last offseason.

Dallas Cowboys have been unbelievable when selecting WRs in Round 1. The Dallas Cowboys have one of the best wideouts in the game, CeeDee Lamb. This is why wide receivers are constantly being linked to Dallas in the upcoming NFL Draft. With options such as Tetairoa McMillan, Matthew Golden, Luther Burden, or Emeka Egbuka possibly on the table at pick No. 12, the Cowboys might be tempted to pull the trigger.

Vikings already have hilarious bulletin board material for 2025 NFL season. The Minnesota Vikings surprised nearly everyone last season when the team won 14 games and were a playoff team during a year when they were expected to be rebuilding with quarterback Sam Darnold thrust into a starting role. Once again, it is difficult to tell how the Vikings will perform during the 2025 season. Several key contributors, including Darnold, are no longer with the team, and the NFC North is expected to be highly competitive.
