Miami Marlins right-hander Nic Enright announced he is fighting Hodgkin's lymphoma and has already begun the first round of treatment, putting his baseball career on hold. "I'm going to continue to tackle this challenge with the same perseverance that I do baseball - and I can't wait to return to the mound and the game I love," Enright said in an Instagram post. The Marlins acquired Enright, 26, in the Rule 5 draft during the winter meetings in December after the former 20th-round draft pick played three seasons in the Cleveland Guardians' system.
