NEW ORLEANS (KTRE) - The New Orleans Saints have placed former Lufkin Panther Erik McCoy on the injured reserved, ending the season for the center. McCoy was placed on IR with an elbow injury prior to the Week 17 25-10 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. It was an injury-riddled season for McCoy, who missed seven weeks with a groin injury after Week 3 before returning for Week 11. Kendre Miller (Mount Enterprise) had three carries for three yards in the loss. For the Raiders, Tyree Wilson (West Rusk) had half a sack and two tackles. The Saints are 5-11 for the season.
