11/08/24 Texas Rangers Send Largest Contingent Of Prospects To Arizona Fall League Fall Stars Game. The Texas Rangers have an MLB-high five players selected to the Arizona Fall League Fall Stars Game this Saturday at Sloan Park in Mesa, Ariz. Infield prospects Max Acosta and Cody Freeman, outfielder Alejandro Osuna, and right-handed pitcher Marc Church will participate in the game, which features some of the top prospects from around the minor leagues playing in he AFL. Right-handed pitcher Josh Stephan was also selected to the American League roster but is not playing in the game.

10/12/24 This Texas Rangers Prospect Flying Under Arizona Fall League Radar. There was a time when Texas Rangers pitching prospect Marc Church seemed like he was on a fast track to the Majors. The Arizona Fall League gives him a chance to speed things up again. MLB Pipeline recently wrote about under-the-radar prospects for each team in the AFL and the site selected Church, the former 18th round pick out of Atlanta, Ga., in 2019. At one time a top 30 prospect in the organization, he fell out of the rankings this season after a tepid follow-up to his blistering 2023.

9/27/24 Texas Rangers Send Three Highly-Ranked Prospects to Arizona Fall League. Three of the Texas Rangers' top 30 prospects are heading to play for the Surprise Saguaros in the Arizona Fall League, Major League Baseball announced on Wednesday. Outfielder Alejandro Osuna (No. 16), and right-handed pitchers Josh Stephan (No. 25) and Skylar Hales (No. 29) lead a list of eight Rangers prospects invited to pariticpate. The others include infielder Max Acosta, third baseman Cody Freeman, left-handed pitcher Avery Weems, and right-handed pitchers Marc Church and Leandro Lopez.

3/13/24 Marc Church Pushing For Texas Rangers Bullpen Spot. As a kid, Marc Church wasn't interested in pitching. "My friend bet me that I couldn't hit 90 [mph] off the mound," Church said. Church was clocked at 92 mph, and his career in baseball made a fateful turn. Church, who turns 23 on March 30, is pushing to earn a spot in the Texas Rangers bullpen after putting together a stellar spring.
