5/26/25 Blue Jays Superstar Pitching Prospect has Another Brilliant Performance. With each passing game, the performances of Toronto Blue Jays pitching prospect Trey Yesavage get more unbelievable. After making his first start with High-A Vancouver on Tuesday, he stepped back on the hill again for another game against Eugene, the same team he faced earlier in the week. In that first start, he threw well after a slow start. He gave up two hits, two runs (both earned), three walks and 10 strikeouts as he threw 73 pitches, 44 of which were strikes. 5/21/25 Blue Jays Red-Hot Prospect Trey Yesavage Makes First Start with Vancouver. Trey Yesavage made his first start with High-A Vancouver on Tuesday after his promotion by the Toronto Blue Jays. Yesavage, who is a Top 100 prospect in baseball as ranked by both Baseball America and MLB Pipeline, was promoted from Class-A Dunedin after a scorching start with the organization's lowest full-season affiliate. The Canadians faced the Eugene Emeralds, the High-A affiliate for the San Francisco Giants, in Oregon and handed the ball to the former East Carolina Pirate to make his debut.

The Toronto Blue Jays have had many draft picks in recent years that have turned heads, and most recently, their first-round pick in the 2024 MLB draft Trey Yesavage has been lighting up the minor leagues with his pitching. A handful of familiar faces remain among the Toronto Blue Jays' top prospects, but new ones are starting to step into the spotlight as well. MLB Pipeline updated its list of top 30 prospects in the Blue Jays' farm system on Monday. The top two players were already known, as Arjun Nimmala and Trey Yesavage appeared in the outlet's preseason top 100 rankings, but the outlet had not yet painted a complete picture of the young talent Toronto was working with. Outfielder Alan Roden, for instance, came in at No. 5, only behind Nimmala, Yesavage, Orelvis Martinez and Ricky Tiedemann.
