5/01/24 Twins rally late for 10th straight win, 10-5 over White Sox. Max Kepler and José Miranda hit run-scoring singles to put Minnesota ahead in the seventh, and the Twins rallied late for their 10th straight win, 10-5 over the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday. Miranda added his third hit for another RBI in a four-run ninth that put it away for the Twins, whose winning streak is their longest since June 2008 and the longest in baseball this season. Willi Castro added an RBI single to cap a three-hit day. Alex Kirilloff hit a solo shot, and Ryan Jeffers knocked in two runs with a double for Minnesota. Tommy Pham hit his first homer with the White Sox and added an RBI double.

5/01/24 Kepler lifts Twins over White Sox 6-5 for team's first 9-game win streak in 16 years. Max Kepler drove in the tiebreaking run in the ninth inning for the second straight game, this time hitting a sacrifice fly, and the Minnesota Twins won their ninth in a row, 6-5 over the Chicago White Sox. Chicago’s Andrew Benintendi homered leading off the eighth to tie it at 5 after Minnesota scored twice in the top half. But the Twins pulled it out in the ninth. Byron Buxton walked and took third on Manuel Margot’s single. Kepler then put Minnesota on top with a sacrifice fly to center. Jhoan Duran pitched around a leadoff single by Tommy Pham in the bottom half and picked up the save.

Byron Buxton walked and took third on Manuel Margot’s one-out single. Kepler then put Minnesota on top with a sacrifice fly to center. Jhoan Duran pitched around a leadoff single by Tommy Pham in the bottom half and picked up the save after missing the Twins’ first 28 games with an injury.

Byron Buxton doubled to lead off the ninth against John Brebbia (0-1). Kepler, who entered the game as a pinch-hitter in the sixth, then drove him in with a line-drive single to right. Caleb Thielbar pitched out of a first-and-third jam in the ninth, striking out Korey Lee to end the game after walking Tommy Pham and giving up a two-out single to Robbie Grossman.
