7/11/25 | Patriots' Hunter Henry Earns Honorable Mention On ESPN Ranking. There is no denying Hunter Henry's impact both on and off the field for the New England Patriots. On Friday, ESPN released its rankings for the top tight ends ahead of the 2025 season based on input from executives, coaches, and scouts. While Henry didn't earn a spot in the top 10, he did receive an honorable mention. Henry finished the 2024 season with 66 receptions for 674 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The Patriots actually have a very solid pair of tight ends in Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper, the latter of whom re-signed with New England back in March. Both players developed a strong bond with quarterback Drake Maye in 2024, so the Pats understandably wanted to maintain the duo.
