4/22/24 Suárez runs shutout streak to 22 innings as Phillies blank Reds 7-0 for 7th straight win. Suárez ran his scoreless streak to 22 innings. Gregory Soto and Jeff Hoffman completed the two-hitter for Philadelphia's fourth shutout this season, tying Cleveland for most in the majors. Cincinnati was blanked for the first time. Minus slugger Bryce Harper, the Phillies put up runs on sacrifice flies in the second and third, then scored another in the fourth on a groundout.

4/17/24 Phillies survive late rally from Rockies to sweep series with 7-6 win. 3/18/24 Phillies relievers ramp up their work, but Orion Kerkering may not be ready for opening day. It was an important day for the Phillies' bullpen, as three relievers pitched for a second time in as many days, a common step in their progression before the season starts. Kerkering hasn't pitched since March 1 after being waylaid by a flu bug that went through the clubhouse. “He was really fatigued,” manager Rob Thomson said after a Phillies split squad lost, 11-2, to the Pirates in Clearwater. Kerkering was among six apparent locks for the bullpen, with lefties José Alvarado, Gregory Soto, and Matt Strahm, and righties Jeff Hoffman and Seranthony Domínguez.
