7/03/25 Seattle Mariners Could Regret Trading Right-Handed Pitching Prospect. Tampa Bay Rays prospect Brody Hopkins will represent the American League at the Futures Game on July 12, and if he continues to show out, he could make the Seattle Mariners regret trading him. The M's traded Hopkins to the Rays last summer in the deal that brought Randy Arozarena to Seattle, and he's put together a very solid season in the Rays organization to earn this trip to the Futures Game.

7/03/25 Julio Rodriguez delivers a go-ahead RBI single to lift the Mariners past Royals 3-2. Julio Rodriguez hit a go-ahead RBI single in the seventh inning and Randy Arozarena drove in two runs as the Seattle Mariners beat the Kansas City Royals 3-2 on Wednesday night. Rodriguez, who left the bases loaded in the fifth inning, atoned for that missed opportunity by hitting a first-pitch cutter from reliever Steven Cruz, who entered for Angel Zerpa (3-1), to the left side.

7/02/25 Randy Arozarena's latest homer leads Mariners past Royals. Randy Arozarena homered for the fourth time in the past three games and added a sacrifice fly as the Seattle Mariners defeated the visiting Kansas City Royals 3-2 on Wednesday. Mariners slugger Cal Raleigh, named the American League's starting catcher for the All-Star Game earlier in the day, got just his second night off in 86 games this season. Arozarena led off the bottom of the sixth inning with a 418-foot blast to straightaway center off Royals reliever John Schreiber, tying the score at 1-all.

7/02/25 Mariners' Randy Arozarena's bat really likes July, and that's huge news for Cal Raleigh. When July rolls around, Randy Arozarena starts to heat up. Arozarena has a better career slugging percentage in August than July, but that's only because he finally gets rolling in the summer. The Mariners could certainly use it.
