1/04/24 | 2023 Los Angeles Dodgers Player Reviews: Tyson Miller. Opening up the 2023 season with the Milwaukee Brewers, Tyson Miller was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers on July 12 for cash considerations. The Dodgers and Brewers connected on a deal after Miller was designated for assignment, and he was then assigned to Triple-A Oklahoma City. The right-hander would make just two appearances with OKC before receiving his first call-up to Major League Baseball on July 26. Miller got his first taste of game action that same day when Dodgers manager Dave Roberts brought him in while trailing 6-1 to the Toronto Blue Jays. 12/27/23 | 2023 Dodgers in review: Tyson Miller. Of the 58 players to appear in at least one game for the Dodgers in 2023, Tyson Miller was the only one to wear two different numbers during the season. It was part of a busy year for the right-hander, who pitched for three different major league teams. The right-hander, now 28, played his prep baseball at Shadow Hills High School in Indio, then played at college at Cal Baptist in Riverside. “I wasn't really a Dodgers fan until I got into pro ball and saw it behind the scenes, and not just as a fan,” Miller said in an interview with True Blue LA in July.
