5/01/24 Indianapolis Colts' cap space going into post-NFL Draft free agency. The Indianapolis Colts are coming out of the 2024 NFL Draft with a nine-player class, and have plenty of salary-cap space to make a move if needed. Coming out of the draft and into post-draft free agency, the Colts could still address some of their biggest needs in the secondary and potentially find some backfield depth behind Jonathan Taylor. According to Over The Cap, the Colts have $28.4 million in salary-cap space and $24.8 million in effective salary-cap space. Effective cap space essentially is the amount of cap space the team has to work with after including the top 51 contracts.

3/14/24 Packers Sign Pro Bowl Running Back, Tulsa Native Josh Jacobs To 4-Year, $48 Million Deal. The Green Bay Packers are bolstering their backfield with one of the top running backs on the market. The club is signing former Las Vegas Raiders back Josh Jacobs to a four-year, $48 million deal, according to NFL Media. The specific terms of Jacobs' deal with the Packers were not immediately disclosed. Last summer amid his contract feud with the Colts, the team was reportedly inquiring about Jonathan Taylor, but no blockbuster ultimately came to fruition.
