7/11/25 | Rams Rivals' Weak Links Revealed. Sean McVay is currently earning the grand total of nine years of NFL head coaching paychecks by employing a simple philosophy to division play. CBS Sports' Josh Edwards pointed out where it hurts for each NFL West opponent and here's how the Rams will be able to exploit their weak points. 7/10/25 | The 49ers' Biggest Remaining Need as Training Camp Approaches. The 49ers are prepared to take their lumps this season -- that's what general manager John Lynch said recently in an interview. It was a strange thing to say, considering the 49ers have more than $45 million in salary cap space right now. If they know they're weak at certain positions and are preparing to "take their lumps," why not sign someone, particularly an interior offensive lineman? "Offensive guard Aaron Banks signed with the Packers in free agency and reserve offensive tackle Jaylon Moore signed with Kansas City," writes CBS Sports' Josh Edwards. 7/09/25 | What's the Biggest Remaining Need for the Kansas City Chiefs?. The Kansas City Chiefs went into the offseason intending to improve their roster as a whole for the 2025 campaign. The offensive line was easily one of the sore thumbs that stood out as an area that needed improvement. General manager Brett Veach and the rest of his scouting department worked tirelessly to add to that cause through the 2025 NFL Draft, drafting Josh Simmons 32nd overall. While Simmons and the offseason addition of Jaylon Moore improve the competition at the left tackle position, one of the bigger question marks still waiting to be answered is what the Chiefs will do with their left guard position. 6/25/25 | The 49ers' Offensive Line Still is a Major Issue. After losing nine starting players this offseason, the 49ers still have a lot to like about their roster, but their offensive line remains a major issue. Now, it's even thinner, which is why it's one of the most untalked about problems in the NFL, according to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer. "They're losing Jaylon Moore to the Chiefs and guard Aaron Banks (who got a big payday in Green Bay)," writes Breer. The 49ers are one injury to Trent Williams away from fielding an offensive line that consists of Spencer Burford, Ben Bartch, Jake Brendel, Dominick Puni and Colton McKivitz. 6/23/25 | Chiefs' Left Guard Competition Ramping Up. For so long, everyone was focused on the left tackle position within the Kansas City Chiefs organization. This offseason, Chiefs Kingdom will still probably be mostly focused on the left tackle battle between first-round pick Josh Simmons and free agency signee Jaylon Moore. Previously held by star Joe Thuney, the Chiefs now have a vacant guard spot that they need to fill. Source: https://www.si.com/nfl/chiefs/kansas-city-left-gua... |
