Opening Day is this week, but that hasn't prevented the Cleveland Guardians from making significant roster decisions with just days left in spring training. The organization made a trade to acquire OF Nolan Jones from the Colorado Rockies, and the aftermath of that deal is now hitting the big league roster with their recent moves. When Nolan Jones got pulled from the Colorado Rockies' spring training game against the Los Angeles Angels on Friday, the outfielder had a feeling he was on the move. Jones decided to FaceTime one of his old friends from his days in the Cleveland Guardians' farm system, utility man Tyler Freeman, to chat about it. As is turned out, Freeman was facing a similar situation himself. The Langhorne, Pa., native was traded back to the Cleveland Guardians by the Colorado Rockies in exchange for utility man Tyler Freeman. The 26-year-old Jones returns to Cleveland after he made his big league debut with the Guardians in 2022.
