On Sunday, the Texas Rangers announced that first baseman Blaine Crim was claimed off the waiver wire by Colorado and has been sent to the Rockies. The 28-year-old righty was designated for assignment by the Rangers after the team's flurry of last-minute trade deadline moves on Thursday. Outfielder Dustin Harris was also DFA'd by the Rangers, but cleared waivers and was reassigned to Triple-A Round Rock.
