| 4/28/24 | Milwaukee Brewers Lose in High Run Game Against New York Yankees Saturday. Wausau, WI (WSAU)– The Milwaukee Brewers were served an upset yesterday as they took on the New York Yankees. They were shut down by the Yankees 15-3. The Brewers started the game with pitcher Joe Ross. Ross struggled to find his groove for the 5 innings played. He allowed 8 hits, 7 runs ( 6 of which had been earned), three walks, five strikeouts with a home run, and a hit batter all within the course of his 99 pitches. Pitcher Thyago Veira replaced Ross in the 6th but was not able to do much better. The Yankees batted with 6 batters reaching bases and also were able to pick up 2 run homers, leading 11-1.
